Challenge
This project took us to film in a completely new city for the team: Milan. With just one day available, the challenge was to quickly understand the city’s rhythm, identify key locations, and capture authentic imagery within an extremely limited timeframe, without compromising the film’s visual quality or narrative.
Objectives
The main goal was to capture the essence of Milan. Its rhythm, energy, and contrasts, while building a subtle narrative around the relationship between the models. The city becomes the meeting point, the space where two people cross paths and discover one another, almost as if they are getting to know each other through the urban environment itself.
Creative Approach
The creative approach was rooted in observation and spontaneity. We chose a light, mobile style of direction, allowing the models to interact naturally with the city and with each other. Milan was not just a backdrop, but an active part of the narrative, shaping movements, encounters, and moments, while the camera followed the relationship as it formed in an organic and intuitive way.
